The question everyone asks about cleansing
(And p.s. it’s okay—we hear it all the time). Will cleansing make you have frequent trips to the restroom? The short answer is no.
Everyone has different bowel habits, and our herbal cleansing formulas are designed to help keep things moving at a normal pace. You’ll notice the natural colon support ingredients are taken in the evening so they work overnight to promote a healthy bowel movement in the morning. While effective, they don’t include harsh ingredients that can cause cramping. Of course, you can reduce the dose as necessary to meet your needs.
And what about fibre?
Many people choose to increase their fibre intake during a cleanse because fibre also helps support bowel health by eliminating unwanted waste and toxins from the body. (It’s pretty nifty that way.) You can add more fibre to your diet by eating more fruit, non-starchy veggies, whole grains, nuts and legumes or you can take a daily fibre supplement.
If I take a fibre supplement, when should I take it?
We recommend separating your fibre supplement from your cleansing formula (as well as from other supplements) by 30 to 60 minutes. Fibre may be taken with food or on an empty stomach, at any time of the day.
